Took a jaunt over to Caunton via the Trent Valley (see
above).

page.

Away in Slovenia and then my computer crashed, hence no entries for some time.
One year on and G-ERTE has had her annual permit renewal. Had to replace saddle washers on the elevators and
replaced some of the split pins that were corroding. I have always used ACF50 but Paul Dewhurst recommended
using grease, lets hope it prevents a recurrence. Re-treated the upper surfaces with Nikwax UV protectant.
She now has over 75 hours on the clock and a few more passengers have been up for jollies including Liz who had
never flown before and wanted to overcome her fear of flying!! I think she began to enjoy it after an hour of very
gentle pootling around Newark and the Trent Valley, despite getting into some pretty turbulent air over Swinderby.

Glorious late Summer afternoon. So off to Eddsfield in The
Yorkshire Wolds with Dave. What a great spot with a warm
welcome. Well worth a visit and only £3 landing fees + excellent
facilities. G-ERTE now has 80 hours on the clock.

Harrison finally got to fly with me. See diary page 2 for his first
seater. This time we went higher than The Empire State building!
Harrisons way of judging the height.
Very pleasant evenings flying with a bright young man.
Over 90 hours now so soon be time for G-ERTE to have her 100 hour service. Had some nice flying over the last few
weeks including a trip to Skegness with Dave. Today 17/10/07 there was a  display at Waddington. See photo page
for pics of Eurofighter and Hawk.

Trip down to Old Warden with Dave today. Well
worth a visit the museum is excellent. Cottesmore
advised "Tornado routeing 100 feet below you
maintain current height and heading" whoosh and
he was gone!
See photos page for a selection of stuff in the
museum.

G-ERTE continues to fly a dream.
More trips down to Old Warden for the WFAEC
lunch in December. Short trips with Ross and Julie
and a quick flight to see in the new year.
Over 100 hours now, but off to NZ for a couple of
months so her service will have to wait until Easter.

A couple of lovely moths and of course the resident "blades" made for an interesting day out.

Desiree from Geraldine. The beautiful Pioneer is a microlight over
there even with folding undercarriage and variable pitch prop!
Rans are the most popular of the regular 3 axis microlights. The
only flexwing was the model shown opposite, MAUW 10Kg!!
